Pest Control & Charges

The aim of Craig Morris Countryside Services is to offer a range of services to domestic, business, parish council and agricultural premises of Hampshire. These services include pest control for moles, rats, mice, wasps, squirrels, cluster flies, rabbits, and the control of American mink to help in the conservation of water voles.

Moles

Mole Trapping

Domestic gardens from £135 for 3 visits over a 7-10 day period. This is usually enough for most situations, however extra visits may be necessary and are charged at £45 per visit.

Sports facilities, very large gardens, equestrian facilities, paddocks and agricultural land will be given a quote per visit after an initial visit.

Wasps hornets bees

Wasps, Hornets, Cluster Flies and Carpet Moths

Domestic property Wasp and Hornet nest treatment from £60 for one nest depending on size and location. Extra nests treated at the same time £10 each.

Clusterfly fumigation from £60 for one visit depending of the size of the loft space or number of rooms needing treatment. An initial inspection may be required. If bats are found to be present in any loft space, no fumigation can be carried out.

Carpet moth spraying of carpets and fumigation of furniture and curtains with insecticide and the placing of pheromone sticky traps from £60 per room depending on the size of the room. Clients will need to move funiture prior to treatment.

Brown rat on log

Rats and Mice

Domestic properties from £180 for 3 visits. Extra visits will be charged on a per visit basis. An external inspection will be carried out to try and establish entry points where possible. Small entry points up to 3 cm square may be blocked as part of the treatment cost. Larger hole blocking will be quoted for. Finding and blocking access points is not always possible. Drain surveys can be arranged through approved specialised companies.

Commercial, agricultural and landlord owned premises may require an initial visit before a quote is given.

Due to increased resistance to anticoagulant poisons and new H.S.E restrictions of poison use, and the risks associated with secondary poisoning, I will always work within the manufacturers recommendations and to the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) code of best practice.

Advisory visits to domestic properties that don’t require follow up treatments are charged at £45.

Rabbits

Rabbits

Commercial, agricultural, paddocks, equestrian and sports facilities will require an initial site visit to assess the best method of control and cost. This can include trapping, shooting and gassing.

Squirell

Squirrels

Domestic properties £180 for 3 visits. Extra visits will be charged if required.

Forestry, agricultural and commercial sites will require an initial site visit before a quote is given.

Water vole

Monitoring of American Mink for Water Vole Conservation

The monitoring of Mink activity on a river or water course system has many challenges and variables, as each location is unique. A full initial inspection will need to be done before a monitoring and trapping plan can be drawn up.

Pigeons

Ferral Pigeon

The discrete culling of feral pigeons in residential properties, commercial and industrial sites using a silenced air rifle. Carried out at times to cause the least disturbance or distress to your staff, customers or business. Bird proofing and netting can be arranged and carried out by an approved specialist company. An initial visit will be required to carry out a Health and Safety Risk Assessment of the site.

About Me

I started Craig Morris Countryside Services in 2010 offering a mixture of pest control, garden maintenance, hedgelaying and habitat conservation services. Over time the pest control side of the business experienced steady growth and I decided to stop the garden maintenance and hedgelaying side of the business and to concentrate on building the range of pest control services I offered. It has always been my intention to provide an exceptional customer service, built on great client relations, value for money and positive results.

The aim of Craig Morris Countryside Services is to offer a range of pest control services to domestic, residential, business, Parish Council and agricultural/equestrian premises of Hampshire. These services include pest control and wildlife management for moles, rabbits, wasps, rats, mice, mink and squirrels.

Whether it's a large farming estate, parish council, commercial client or a private residence, I can provide a quality service based on relevant training and qualifications, and time served experience.

Providing a good customer service is the foundation to any successful business, and I am no different. I have approved trader status with Hampshire County Councils trading standards department, with their 'Buy with confidence scheme'. This assures clients that I have met the criteria set by Trading Standards including positive customer feedback and CRB check. Please click on the 'Buy with Confidence' logo to see my customer feedback rating. Also see my Google business page and check out my reviews there.

I am also a member of various professional pest control membership schemes that require a high level of continuous training and personal development, to ensure high standards of safety and workmanship. please click on the relevant logo's to find out more.

I am proud of the service that I provide and of the relationship that I have built with my clients over the years. Please take a moment to look around my web site and see what services may be of interest to you.

We’ve just used Craig’s services for a small Mice issue at our property. I had initially found another company online who quoted an extortionate amount but managed to come across Craig and after reading reviews and calling was delighted that he was able to book us in so quickly. Craig offers very reasonable prices and an exceptional service- he is also a lovely gentleman! Delighted to say our Mice have now departed and while I hope we don’t need Craig again he would , without a doubt, be the first person we call!

Brilliant service received from Craig. We moved into a new home that had a bad rat problem. He located where they where getting in and baited the relevant areas. Within a week or so they were gone and the hole blocked up. Craig is very knowledgeable, and well priced compared to other companies. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

We contacted Craig after our resident rats failed to take any of the council laid bait. Craig used a different bait which they took to immediately (as shown on our sneaky night vision camera). Craig spent a good deal of time trying to find entry points into our roof space. He couldn’t and suggested getting a sewer survey as this is the most common source for rat problems. The rats have gone for now and the results of the sewer survey have shown possible entry points. We are hopeful that we can prevent the rats from returning. Craig went over and above and we would 100% recommend his services:-)

The wasp nest was under the tiles above our front porch. The wasps were eating through the hardboard above the door. Craig arrived promptly and explained how to deal with the wasps. He was professional and efficient. I would recommend him.

I support all the positive comments on here about this business. Craig is professional, friendly and happy to explain what he's doing. He was clearing a rat nest under my patio and I will admit to the garden being messy (rain and leaf fall not helping) but he happily got on his knees and laid the bait. Would definitely use him again if necessary.

Craig was so professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him and his trusty assistant Monty. I would use him again if needed. He certainly was totally no nonsense and efficient. Thank you Craig.
